FigLeaf Expansion Project

Updated: Sep 19, 2019

We have exciting news about the future of FigLeaf Brewing Company! We are beginning the first stage of our brewery and taproom expansion on Sunday night as soon as the doors close. Before construction begins, we want to give you a little insight on what we are going to be doing over the next few weeks and months.

The largest and most noticeable change that is coming is the addition of 3000 sq. ft to the front of the taproom with a brand new facade that will draw a lot more interest from people passing by on Cincinnati Dayton Rd. While the designs are not finalized you can see an early draft above. The front of the building will also feature garage doors opening out to a patio giving our patrons a relaxing outdoor area to enjoy a drink.

What about the old patio, you might ask? We will be converting that space into a fully enclosed private event space. Once completed you will be able to celebrate life’s events with us. From birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, graduations, and everything in between we will have the space for you.

With a bigger taproom comes a bigger bar! We will be expanding our bar giving us 50 total feet of bar space! We know you love our food offerings so we will also be building a new 700 sq. ft kitchen that will allow us to bring you more menu items on a daily basis. New menu items will show up in a few weeks and as time goes on we will add more items when the final kitchen is completed.

Finally, in addition to our larger taproom, patio and event space we will be expanding our brewing capacity upwards of 2000bbls a year or more! On top of that we will be welcoming Sycamore Distilling into our production portfolio. We will have a still on site and will produce spirits specific to our location as well as backing up current Sycamore Distilling offerings. All Sycamore Distilling Products including their whiskeys, bourbons, Voltage Vodka and Cooper Island Rum will be available in the taproom in a few weeks!

As construction starts next week we ask that you bear with is and pardon the dust. Regular taproom hours will be observed during the entirety of construction and expansion. We would love to invite you out to CiderFest this weekend to revisit the taproom before these major changes are made. Celebrate new beginnings and growth into the future!

Cheers!
